Jiffy pop! The expanding aluminum foil appeared to be right out of the Jetsons’ kitchen. In fact, I believe I saw that marketing invention as part of the Henry Ford at Dearborn, Michigan.

Jiffy Pop was a rare treat growing up. I was usually so busy watching the aluminum foil grow that I inevitably let the bottom burn!

yes, an interesting cooking method but tricky! Rotating the kernels and the correct oil temp are critical.
